Our Mission
The Mile High Psychedelic Education & Training Center (MHPETC) is a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to advancing education, research, and community building surrounding the responsible use of psychedelic substances. We disseminate reliable information through public events and online platforms to reduce harm and stigma associated with psychedelics. Our trauma-informed approach focuses on meeting community needs as psychedelics become more accessible.
We strive to support an inclusive community that respects all individuals, regardless of their background. Our goal is twofold: to build the capacity of psychedelic practitioners through culturally responsive technical assistance and consultation, and to raise awareness for communities seeking culturally appropriate psychedelic ceremony, setting, and integration support services.

Internal Programs
Our internal programs focus on building the capacity of psychedelic practitioners and the community through culturally responsive technical assistance and consultation. We aim to foster an environment of knowledge-sharing and wisdom-sharing, creating a safe space for dialogue, exploration, and learning. These programs are designed to equip practitioners with the skills and understanding necessary to provide effective, ethical, and culturally sensitive psychedelic care.
Our offerings include Motivational Interviewing for Psychedelic Practitioners, addressing Stigma & Ceremonial Mistrust, Creating Culturally Responsive Ceremonial Environments, and Introduction to Anti-Racist Psychedelic Care. We also provide Client Navigation Services to build strong referral networks, Natural Medicines 101 for community members, and workshops on Going Beyond Land Acknowledgement for Psychedelic Practitioners and Preventing Harassment & Discrimination for Ceremonial Intakes.

Community-based Programs
Our community-based external programs are produced and managed by community members with support from the organization. This tier aims to empower individuals to take ownership of their psychedelic experiences and facilitate the appropriate use of psychedelics in the community. These programs extend beyond ceremonial medicine to include advocacy, policy, and education.
We offer a diverse range of initiatives, including Community Psychedelic Education Workshops, Ceremonial Medicine Gatherings, Psychedelic Integration Circles, and a Psychedelic Policy Advocacy Group. Our Community Resource Center and Psychedelic Peer Support Network provide accessible resources that meet the unique needs of individuals and communities. We also support Community Outreach Programs, Cultural Preservation Programs, and External Mystery School Offerings.
